Dave's method is focused on a singer's overall vocal health an ability. If you're singing and it hurts, it's a problem. If you want to build your vocal range, you can. Dave's method will show you what your vocals are capable of doing, as well as what hinders your vocals from being the best version of itself. Technically speaking, it's a method where he focuses on helping vocalists to hold the larynx still and vocal cords together... which is a proven method to acquire and maintain top vocal health.

Dave's passion for singing and singers is not only about providing singers with a technical foundation to succeed - he also believes in supporting singers with his industry expertise and resources. He guest lectures at prestigious music centric schools and organizations, including the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Stanford University, Canadian Voice Care Foundation, Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, and Kunstuniversitaet Graz in Austria.

A fun fact is that Dave is the former CEO of Speech Level Singing International. He moved on from SLS to develop an academic and holistic approach to vocal technique that encompasses the importance of both vocal health and vocal skill. This technique is called "Vocology".



Dave works with students of all ability levels - ranging from Billboard Hot 100 recording artists, to Broadway stars, to beginning vocal students, and enjoys discovering their vocal ability and, more importantly, preserving the vocal health of each student... wherever they're at in their vocal career!
